Ohh, that's the eye from Sep's shirt, innit?

That symbol is closely associated with Sep.

1. It's on Sep's shirt.
2. Sep dreamed of it on page 92.
3. Sep's eyes behind his glasses look like that.
4. The mysterious creepy monster was seen devouring this symbol on page 27, just after learning Sep's name.

Also, it was on the box from which Essie took the map before giving it to Raina (page 19).

My theory is that Essie is the monster on page 27, and that Raina's quest is a trap to lure Sep to that place on the map, which the monster somehow needs to gain power over him (using his name).

All of the evidence you have is right except for #3. Can you sow me some picture evidence of this because his eyes don't seem like that to me.

I don't have any visual evidence regarding claim #3. It's just my intuition telling me it is a symbol of an eye with a circle around it, and it could be a symbolic reason why Sep is depicted wearing ridiculously big round glasses (in addition to that symbol on his sweater).

Furthermore, please check page 12. The panel where Essie demonstrates her Magic Eye(tm) reminds me of the symbol too (especially the lines radiating out from the circle).

Beautiful as usual! Can't wait to see how the story progresses (and I'm enjoying the commentary on symbolism and theories for plot advancements!)
